Canadian Forces Base (CFB) Gagetown, New Brunswick

The Honourable Julian Fantino, Associate Minister of National Defense, bids farewell to the Royal Couple as they depart CFB Gagetown.

Their Royal Highnesses the Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall are visiting Canada from May 20 to 23, 2012 in celebration of the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee. They were officially welcomed at CFB Gagetown by His Excellency the Right Honourable David Johnston, Governor General of Canada. The event featured full military honours including a 21-gun salute and the breaking of His Royal Highness’ personal Canadian flag.
