Vaughan, ON: On December 13, 2012 Vaughan’s Hannah Godefa visited with the Rt. Hon. Stephen Harper, Prime Minister of Canada, and the Hon. Julian Fantino, Minister of International Cooperation and Member of Parliament for Vaughan, at Parliament Hill in Ottawa, Ontario.

Hannah is a resident of Vaughan who currently serves as the Youth and Goodwill Ambassador of Ethiopia and is founder of the Pencil Mountain project; a project that collects and donates school supplies to children in Ethiopia.

“Hannah exemplifies the meaning of community spirit and dedication, she continues to accomplish so much in support of those in need half way across the world,” said Minister Fantino. “It was a delight to arrange a meeting between Hannah and the Prime Minister; someone who works so hard on behalf of others deserves the recognition.”
